Who we are

The Head Coach is an association of independent educational coaches and consultants.  Founded in 2006, The Head Coach has worked with many people across the UK in helping them to live a balanced life that builds on their professional excellence.  

One to one coaching with a qualified professional coach.  All our coaches have experience in the education sector.  Coaching can take place either by telephone or face-to-face.

Independent coaching supervision for school coaches.  Supervision is a way that coaches can talk confidentially to a trained supervisor about their coaching practise.  If you have a coaching or co-coaching programme in your school we can arrange for professional supervision.

Group coaching for teams.  New and established teams can benefit from having facilitated coaching sessions to help them look at how they work together as well as helping plan a shared vision and action plan for projects.

In-house workshops based on a coaching ethos.  Including training in coaching skills, communication, reflection, goal setting, work-life balance, NLP, Mindfulness, sustaining change and resolving differences.  Leadership is about understanding people. Coaching is one of the most effective ways of building understanding.  

Public workshops.  Our "workshops" page gives information on workshops open to the general public as well as those working in the education sector.  We find the input of a "mixed" group can have a huge benefit to participants.
